Swanky Magazine Interviews the wonderfully talented photographer - Dario Tucci
PHOTOGRAPHER SPOTLIGHT | Dario Tucci from Naples, Italy.
Q1.Swanky Mag: Hello Dario, Can you introduce yourself to Swanky Magazines readers? Can
you tell us a little about you?
I’m Dario Tucci, I’m a photographer. I live in Naples and I’m lucky to travel around Italy thanks to my job
Q2.How and when did you get into photography?
I think some years ago, maybe 6/7. I‘ve always liked photography, but only a few years ago this became my first job. one year ago
Q3.What does photography mean to you?
For me photography it’s the way something personal, my own vision of the world, blows up
into the world.
Q4.Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.
I can describe myself as a ‘’portraiture’’. In most of my pictures, you can find human beings. I’m fascinated by people who are different from me from what I'm used to seeing and meeting.
Q5.Where do you get your inspiration from?
Oh, I can say from a lot of things and people! But currently, I feel my photography should speak for my most intimate thoughts and values. It should represent something I really like to believe in.
Q6.Do you think in advance what you want in the picture?
It depends, but yes. I prefer fashion and portraits because I can decide parts of the shooting
and play with my creativity. The other 50 % just come to me as a surprise, something I don’t
want to manage.
Q7. Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?
I’m a paid professional, but out there it’s full of hobbyists who are so talented!
Q8. What has been your most memorable session, and why?
That’s a good question. It’s hard to answer. I generally say I love shooting outdoors with
a large team instead of being in a studio.
Q9. Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?
Canon. I can’t live without my 50 mm.
Q10. What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business?
To believe in theirself. to be humble, to study and get a lots of contact. Go on the streets and take risks! And not to overthink about ‘’create your own style’’ at the begin. But just enjoy!
Q11. What do you think of our new magazine?
I love your style , it’s been a pleasure for me be interviewed on your magazine, and I wish you
the best to grow up more and more! Thanks again.
