LE SSERAFIM MAKES AN NYC IMPACT
K-pop powerhouse LE SSERAFIM made a stunning impact on the New York City skyline by lighting up the iconic Empire State Building on September 10, 2024. The lighting ceremony, held in collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, celebrated the release of the group's 4th Mini Album, CRAZY, and dedication to supporting their fans.
GRACE’S WISH COMES TRUE
As part of the celebration, LE SSERAFIM granted their first-ever wish to a young fan named Grace from Ohio who is battling an autoimmune disorder. Grace’s wish to meet her idols became a reality at the ceremony, where she was greeted by the entire group and able to join them on top of one the most famous buildings in the world.
FEARLESS BLUE
Huh Yunjin, a member of the group, explained the significance behind the color chosen for the lighting: "It’s so special to be lighting up the skyline with a color that's so dear to us. To introduce the color, it's ‘Fearless Blue’ or officially Pantone 7453C, it's a light blue that symbolizes the highest temperature of a burning star. It represents passion, independence, strength, hope, and dreams, which I think also brings more meaning to our collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation today."
The Empire State Building has long been a beacon of hope and achievement, welcoming locals and tourists alike to marvel at the architecture and the view of all of NYC from the top! The building’s iconic lighting regularly supports charitable causes, helping amplify their visibility on a grand scale.
