MATTE COLLECTION SWIM 2023

After a successful runway show last year as one of Miami Swim Week’s hottest brands, Matte Collection has returned to Miami Swim Week to present the latest collection of swimwear and resort wear at PARAISO Miami Beach, widely known as Miami Swim Week and the world’s largest event for the swimwear and resort wear industry.

The all-new Matte Collection pieces that were shown on the catwalk were curated from three upcoming collection: Flowers In Bloom, Resort, and Abstract. Each of these ranges embody the founding idea behind the brand that every woman deserves to look and feel their best without breaking the bank.

Flowers in Bloom is a collection of Matte’s stable pieces, such as bikini sets, dresses, and beach skirts, featuring a blooming rose.

The resort showcases a collection of knit pieces in white and vibrant colors just in time for the summer season. The new styles continue to expand the Matte signature look – clean, simple, and minimalist.

Abstract offers bold abstract prints for the daring customer, providing a mysterious narrative. “Through the Abstract collection I wanted to feature styles that are elusive, poetic, and imaginative, rather than representational”, says Justina McKee, the founder of Matte Collection.

Matte Collection runway show took place at The Plymouth Beach in Miami Beach, where a choir kicked off the runway and models walked to the rhythm of afro beats artist Mannywellz.

Matte Collection runway models included Amber Keaton, Bailey Clark, Braelene Owen, Karen Soto, Liana Kai, Liy Liy, Savannah, Stephanie Peterson, Sandy Evangelista, Dilara Acar, Enayyah Musa, Emma Shea, Ashley Garcia, Amber Quinn, Shavonne Boggs, Juliette Nadine, and Briana Smith.
