“As men, we can often feel pressured to appease traditional presentations of masculinity. We fear that if we stray too far from what society has deemed masculine we will be perceived as feminine. And thus, “not a real man.” Which could subject us to ostracism or even condemnation. However, if we were to find the courage to discard the restrictions of gender norms, and view these merely as societal constructs. We become liberated to express ourselves however we see fit. We become the creators of our masculinity. A new masculinity.”
