Salt-Water Sandal is a story of a father, daughter, and World War II. During the Second World War, in the 1940s, Walter Hoy made the first Salt-Water sandals from scrap leather, a material in short supply at the time. It was a model with an original design that he intended for his daughter Margery. Thus, the first pair of Salt-Water Original Sandals was born, followed by a second one for his brother Bob. One, two and thousands of sandals are now crossing the oceans and the world.

The 501c3 non-profit BK|Style Foundation (BK|SF) is once again bringing Fashion Week Brooklyn (FWBK) to life. This year the organization partnered with Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary communications firm Playbook MG for public relations of Design Dimensions April 2nd-10th 2022.
