Hebe

This series is a part of the project, 'The Myth of Femininity'. In which we explore the depictions of women in mythology and legend - deconstructing the many archetypes and stereotypes of women created throughout history.

Hebe is the Greek Goddess of Eternal Youth & the Keeper of the Fountain of Youth. She is depicted as a youthful beauty with golden wings, who serves as the cupbearer of the gods.

With an all-female cast and crew, we explore and reinterpret the youthful character of Hebe within a modern context. With a heavy association with water, spring, and flowing fabrics, we dive into the glowing golden world of eternal youth.
