Moirae

This series is a part of the project, 'The Myth of Femininity'. In which we explore the depictions of women in mythology and legend - deconstructing the many archetypes and stereotypes of women created throughout history.

'Moirae' features the Greek mythology of the three old women who personify the destiny of men. In the legend, each woman wields a different element of life - the creation, duration, and death. Together these three goddesses spin the thread of life for every man.

As an all-female cast and crew, we took the legend of the Moirae, and create a contemporary interpretation of the myth. Creating an untouchable character of wisdom, mystery, and most of all power.
