Q1. Swanky Mag: Hello Carla, Can you introduce yourself to Swanky Magazine & readers?

Hey, I am Carla Corina. I am a single mother of one but that doesn’t limit the number of hats I have. In addition to being a lingerie, swimwear implied nude to nude, and beauty model, I also bartend, bottle girl, video vixen, and own a lingerie company called Body To Cuerpo.

Q2. How did you get involved with modeling, and what do you love most about being a model?

Before February 2021, I modeled very rarely, and it was more of a hobby. But in February 2021, a photographer friend, Anna Glover, introduced me to “meet-ups” and from there the connections I made had me more involved with modeling than I had before. If you aren’t too familiar with “meet-ups” it is a chosen location where both photographers and models of all experience levels come together and work with one another. What I love most about modeling is that, contrary to popular belief, it is very accepting of all shapes and sizes. Since I am not your typical model, (short, curvy, with skin imperfections) I used to think the modeling world was no place for me. But I was wrong, we are highly wanted.

Q3. What fuels your imagination and provides you with inspiration.

Typically my imagination is fueled by my surroundings, which is why I enjoy more out-of-studio shoots because it allows me to think out of the box. But my inspiration comes from other models and photographers, seeing other work and incorporating some into mine.

Q4. Let us into a secret, What is a beauty trick you do before a photoshoot?

A day prior and the morning of, I work out to tighten up my body a little bit and it gives me a little confidence boost. I also practice my poses; I typically practice days leading up to the photoshoot.

Q5. What projects are you working on next, and what are your goals for the future?

For my next few projects, I want them to be nothing I have done before, so cosplay is my next one for sure and I would love to try some commercial work. My goals for the future are to get into acting and move to a bigger city so I’ll be able to book more and be closer to photoshoots.
