Mexico, the second most important market for Spanish children's fashion and footwear exports, is a great opportunity for brands in the sector.
It currently leads international sales in the non-European market, with a 9% share.
Mexico is of great importance for Spanish fashion because, as well as being one of the main clients, it is the gateway for the country's operators to the American continent. The international expansion of Spanish brands often involves opening in the country's department store complexes, such as the Palacio de Hierro department store, where brands such as Boboli, Foque, Igor and PAZ Rodríguez operate, or Liverpool, with the presence of the Tutto Piccolo and Mayoral brands.
ASEPRI lands in the Mexican market hand in hand with 11 leading Spanish children's brands thanks to an exclusive event in showroom format that took place yesterday, Tuesday 26 November, in Mexico City, specifically in the Economic and Commercial Office at Masaryk, 473. Col. CDMX and that has allowed to strengthen the commercial relations between the Spanish brands and the Mexican VIP clients.
This action has allowed Mexican customers to see first-hand the collections and designs of the most outstanding Spanish brands in children's fashion, footwear and baby accessories.
As for the VIP guests at the event, the children's sector has summoned chain stores, department stores, e-Shops and Mexican importers and has had the presence of clients of the stature of Palacio de Hierro, Liverpool (department store with 120 stores), Chapur (department stores in Yucatán and Mérida), So Cute de Torreón boutique, the fashion and childcare chain Bodega del Bebé, Bambitas de calzado, Comercio Excelente, Baby Luna, Boli Baby Shop, Georgie Boy and the leading boutique in Mexico, Paty Bueno, among others.
The presence of such a large number of guests at the showroom in Mexico City is in line with ASEPRI's objective in organising this event: to promote Spanish brands and establish relationships in such an interesting market as the Mexican one.
Spanish brands participating in the showroom in Mexico City ASEPRI, in order to have a significant number of Spanish brands for its showroom in Mexico City, presented 11 of the leading brands in the sector.
In terms of children's fashion, we had the brands BOBOLI, FOQUE, JULIANA, MAC ILUSIÓN, LILULILA and the BOBOLI CHIC line.
