The first-ever pop-up store anchored at Berkeley St James Group’s newest complex in West London, White City Living, showcases the collections of its rising talents.


Prof. Jimmy Choo’s JCA | London Fashion Academy has opened its doors to the JCA Retail Gallery. The first-ever pop-up store anchored at Berkeley St James Group’s newest complex in West London, White City Living, showcases the collections of its rising talents. Open to the public from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Saturday, the JCA retail gallery invites visitors to engage with these rising talents and explore their unique collections in a bespoke, creative space.

The unique retail gallery space is open for three weeks in November to showcase ready-to-wear accessories and garments created by current students and alumni from the past three years. The project offers students a blank canvas to bring their visions to life and demonstrate their creativity, innovation, and business acumen.

The JCA Retail Gallery, themed “Reflections,” will bring together the innovative, artistic expression of its designers whilst showcasing their entrepreneurial spirit. The space is crafted to reflect on the creative and entrepreneurial journey of the designers and JCA’s commitment to supporting both the arts and the wider community.

Coinciding with the JCA retail gallery's physical presence in November, the JCA is launching an e-commerce platform featuring the collections of all participating JCA designers. This online shop, offering UK-wide shipping, will extend beyond the physical store, creating a lasting legacy. It will continue to promote and sell the collections of JCA students and alumni for years, ensuring that young designers graduate with at least one retail stockist to support their revenue streams.

The designers who are showcasing their collection are:

ANDREEA PIRLOG

ALLANDRÉ is a bespoke luxury brand specialising in custom-made garments, accessories and leather goods designed by Andreea Pirlog. By blending time-honoured skills with modern aesthetics, Pirlog aims to create luxury pieces that stand as true works of art, celebrating the beauty of handcrafting and the endless possibilities of fashion. ALLANDRÉ is a testament to the enduring appeal of quality, authenticity, and innovation.

CHRISTINA HUANG

Christina Huang is known for blending technology and luxury. Her innovative bespoke garments incorporate cutting-edge materials beyond traditional fabrics, offering a seamless fusion of functionality and elegance. Positioned at the high end of ready-to-wear and couture, Huang’s work redefines fashion by merging advanced technology with timeless style.

ELEANOR HUNTER

Average George is a distinguished menswear brand that seamlessly blends sophistication with a playful twist, offering a unique and exhilarating experience inspired by Eleanor Hunter’s grandad who was a WW2 spy, and the world of espionage. Their mission is to redefine luxury menswear by infusing a sense of mystery, style, and adventure into every garment. Average George is all about making men feel empowered by giving them that childlike but masculine life of being a spy, creating fun interactive clothing within a serious market.

ELLE PATRICIA

Elle Curzon is a designer renowned for transforming upcycling into a high-end art form. She seamlessly blends sustainability with luxury, crafting sculptural garments that serve as wearable works of art. Her unique approach involves incorporating meticulously chosen prints, and repurposed textiles such as coloured bedsheets, upcycled belts, and bags, as well as creating her own bespoke fabrics from the ground up. With each piece, Elle redefines the intersection of creativity, craftsmanship, and environmental consciousness.

IRIS SKILLBECK

Iris Skilbeck, a JCA partner school project student, presents a powerful exploration of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in her final GCSE piece. Inspired by the theme of ‘History,’ her work confronts the stigma and isolation faced by marginalised communities during the crisis. Drawing on her upbringing in a medical household, Iris uses fashion to evoke the emotional and psychological weight of the epidemic.

KACI HORSEMAN

KACI KEMP is a sustainable brand that promotes upcycling through her collection, by repurposing innovative materials. The universal brand is bridging the gap between the abled and disabled communities. Horseman aims to set a new standard for inclusivity within the fashion industry.

KIRA MCDERMOTT

Kira McDermott, the designer behind Ki Collective, is known for bold architectural silhouettes that combine modern edge with timeless elegance. Her attention to craftsmanship and striking details, like asymmetrical zippers and structured collars, have earned her praise from fashion icons like Prof. Jimmy Choo.

LUCY MOSER

Lucy Caylin created Lucy Moser, a vibrant and fun clothing brand inspired by the spirit of the 1970s. Influenced by glam rock silhouettes and fashion ideals, Lucy’s designs encourage individuality and self-expression while staying modern and wearable. Brand's mission is to empower people to break free from societal norms, fostering a community of fashion lovers and art enthusiasts.

KIRI BOOTH

Kiri Booth uses deadstock and secondhand materials preventing fashion waste. That makes the garments one of a kind, making each its own unique piece for the person whose body it will adorn. Kiri is inspired by the beautiful experiences, emotions, and connections that make us human. Kiri believes that style is the most accessible and personal form of art, and hopes to inspire others to find confidence, creativity, and joy in the everyday art of getting dressed.

MADELAINE ATKINSON

MADELAINE ATKINSON is a fashion brand that transforms garments into powerful statements of social change. The brand is dedicated to using fashion as a platform for advocacy and awareness. Each collection sheds light on critical social issues, with the debut line focusing on the harsh realities faced by young individuals groomed by County Lines gangs. The brand's designs are a fusion of modern and traditional embroidery techniques, combining with contemporary and bold silhouettes to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Rooted in sustainability and a deep commitment to vulnerable communities, MADELAINE ATKINSON not only raises awareness but also donates a portion of profits to relevant charities, making a tangible impact with every design.

OLIVIA BLACK

Olivia Black is a Genderless, non-conformist, Sustainability lead, textile fashion brand. Focusing on the messaging of reducing textile waste, within the fashion industry. By harmonising texture and technique with sustainable sourcing. The Olivia Black brand takes heavy inspiration from the harsh environment that's created by pollution. The textile choices of the brand are militaristic, representative of the rationing necessary for reducing waste in the production of garments.

RAJGAORI PAWAR

Rajgaori Pawar is a designer focused on empowering women through workwear, eveningwear, and bridal fashion. Her brand blends traditional Asian fabrics with modern silhouettes, aiming to create timeless, sustainable designs. Inspired by history and pageantry, Rajgaori incorporates intricate embroidery and fabric innovation to offer chic, culturally resonant collections. The brand aspires to make a significant impact in the luxury fashion segment.

SABINE HUSSAIN

SHAANDAAR DESIGN STUDIO is a luxury fashion house renowned for its unique fusion of South Asian heritage and contemporary Western fashion. With a commitment to craftsmanship, cultural diversity, and sustainability, Shaandaar offers a range of exquisite couture, made-to-order, and accessories that celebrate individuality and style.
