Alectra Rothschild / Masculina

The collection seeks to visualize the emotional landscapes of wanting autonomy over ones body. But more so it explores the vastness of the traumatized body. The scars and bruises from mental and physical abuse that we as trans people face daily. The dresses are shredded and falling off the body showing that we are constantly battling the world around us for just existing. The custom latex are full of the blood that gushes from our wounds. We want vengeance. The coats are strong and protective from the world but also serves as anonymity - as assassins we Will get an eye for an eye. The color story of the collection explores the ideas of guns.. silver, gun metal, black.
